FAQ

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON THE DAY OF A SHOOT?

Relax and leave everything up to me! I will communicate with you well in advance and make you aware of any plans. For weddings, I coordinate with the photographer so we are on the same page, and all moments are captured. For real estate, you may be present or not, as my shots are all done outside (unless indoor requested). For any events requesting drone coverage, it is my responsibility to obtain any permits needed, and fly under safe conditions.

CAN I REVIEW THE VIDEO BEFORE IT’S FINALIZED?

Absolutely!  I will send you your "final" edited video, but I allow one final edit at your request, within reason. A lot of hard work goes into the editing process, and I hope you will be proud to share the final product!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

As my client list continues to grow (so grateful!), I recommend reaching out to me as soon as you know your event date. I only require a $75 initial payment with a signed contract to hold your date. Let's get you on the books!

CAN I HAVE WEDDING COVERAGE WITHOUT THE DRONE?

Of course! While I started this business based on drone coverage, I have transitioned to DSLR video as well. The drone is not necessary to capture your day at all! Although, I personally think the drone is perfect for quick, establishing shots of your venue and a great way to capture the scene on your big day.

CAN YOU FLY THE DRONE IN BAD WEATHER?

Unfortunately, the drone cannot fly in certain conditions. Weather and flight restrictions can affect flight plans for the event. As a drone pilot, I must ensure the safety of everyone, which includes making the difficult decision to refrain from flights. Luckily, we have ground video to the rescue!

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

All my drones are DJI.

My DSLR is a Sony A7iii with several lenses for the right situation.
